HI! My name is Sanddi. I'm an oilfiled wife to an awesome guy of (almost!) seven years, Preston. I'm a mother to an awesome (almost!) two year old named Sylas. We live in the great state of Texas. I'm twenty seven years old and a stay at home mom.
Pre-child, I was in decent shape. I wasn't healthy... then got healthy. Then got pregnant. Now that he's older, in school and we're not breastfeeding anymore, I've decided to get back on that healthy wagon.
I'm doing a Biggest Loser competition through a local forum and it's already going so you're a little behind.
Well let me catch you up!
I started this competition weighing 182 on September 11th.
We have a weigh in every Tuesday. (I do it in the morning, first thing.)
My second weigh in was 181.
My third weigh in was 178.
My fourth weigh in was 178. (yeah... no gain though!)
My fifth weigh in was 176.
And today (sixth weigh in) was 175. whooop whooop!
How am I doing this?
I have a personal trainer. Her name is Amanda and she's awesome.
I also watch what I eat. I'm not saying I count my calories or anything... I'm just making smarter choices. I do not drink sodas. None. Zip. Nada. I do have an addiction to Starbucks though... ssshhhh.
This blog will be updates on how I'm doing and so forth. I'll throw in some random things, I'm sure... and maybe some recipes! Yum! Food is good! ha.
Tomorrow, I have a session with my trainer. (should have been today but I'm recovering from a weird stomach bug) I'll have to burn off some extra calories because I've got gumbo on the menu for tomorrow's dinner. mmmm
